We understand your heart's cry for unity and the desire to reconnect with the one you love. However, let's remember that God's will is paramount in our lives, and His plans are always for our good and His glory.
Firstly, we commend you for asking for forgiveness of your sins. As it is written in 1 John 1:9 (WEB), "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." This is the first step in aligning our hearts with God's will.
However, we must also be mindful of the nature of the relationship. The Bible teaches us to flee from sexual immorality (1 Corinthians 6:18) and to pursue relationships that honor God and align with His principles. If this relationship is not in line with biblical principles, we encourage you to seek God's will for a godly spouse.
Let's pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our sister/brother. We thank You for Your forgiveness and for cleansing us from all unrighteousness. We ask for Your will to be done in this situation. If it is Your desire for this relationship to be restored, we pray for clear communication and understanding between them. However, if this is not Your plan, we ask that You give our sister/brother the strength to accept Your will and move forward. Protect and keep them both safe, guiding them according to Your purposes. Above all, may both of them draw closer to You, seeking Your face and Your plan for their lives. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you to continue praying and seeking God's face. Trust in Him, for He knows what is best for you. As Psalm 32:8 (WEB) says, "I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you." Trust in His guidance and wisdom.
