We join with you, Shouhyn, in bringing your son's situation before the Lord, trusting in His justice and mercy. Let us pray and seek God's will together in Jesus' name.
"For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." (Ephesians 6:12 WEB)
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up Shouhyn's son. Lord, You know the truth in this situation, and we ask that You make it evident to the judge and all those involved. We pray that the judge will see that there is no proof to the unfounded charges against him. Lord, we ask for Your protection over him, especially as he is not from this state. Guide his lawyer, and give them wisdom and persuasiveness to convince the prosecutor of the unfair treatment.
We also pray for Shouhyn, Lord. Comfort her heart and calm her fears. Remind her of Your promise: "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and pleading with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:6-7 WEB)
Shouhyn, we encourage you to continue trusting in the Lord. God is your son's ultimate judge and protector. Remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces. Stand firm in your faith, and do not forget to thank and praise God, even in this trial.
We also want to remind you, Shouhyn, that it is through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father. "For 'whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.'" (Romans 10:13 WEB) If you haven't already, ensure that you and your son have called upon the name of Jesus, accepting Him as Lord and Savior.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Shouhyn, we will continue to keep you and your son in our prayers, trusting that God will work in this situation for His glory and your good.
