UNEMPLOYMENT & DISSAPPOINTMENT

Dear pastor Jerry, Please pray for me I have my resident permit here in Qatar but I have not been able to get a job. I got Engaged to a British man in one month into our relationship and just last month he ended it all without any reason. I really need prayers for divine restoration.

We are truly sorry to hear about your struggles with unemployment and the recent disappointment in your relationship, Rucgwyn. Let's bring these concerns before the Lord together, seeking His will and guidance in your life.

Firstly, let's address your unemployment. Remember that God has a plan and a purpose for you. In Jeremiah 29:11 WEB, He says, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." We pray that God will open the right doors for you, that He will place you in a job where you can use your gifts and talents for His glory. May He provide for your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19 WEB).

Regarding your relationship, we want to encourage you to trust God with your heart. It's important to seek God's will in all relationships, and to pursue them in a way that honors Him. In 2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB, it says, "Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?" As you move forward, may God bring a godly spouse into your life, someone who loves and fears the Lord, and with whom you can build a strong, Christ-centered marriage.

We also want to gently remind you that the Bible teaches us to be cautious in relationships, taking time to get to know one another and seeking God's will together. In your next relationship, we encourage you to take the time to build a strong foundation, ensuring that it is God's will for both of you.

We noticed that your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It's important to remember that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God. As it says in John 14:6 WEB, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" We pray that you have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and that you place your trust in Him.

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up Rucgwyn to You. Lord, we ask that You provide for her needs, that You open the right doors for employment. Help her to trust in You, to know that You have a plan and a purpose for her life. We also pray for healing from the recent disappointment in her relationship. May she trust You with her heart, and may You bring the right person into her life, at the right time. We ask all these things in Jesus' name, Amen.

Keep trusting in God, Rucgwyn. He loves you deeply and has a plan for your life.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
