We're here with you, brother, in this season of unemployment. It's tough, we know, but remember, God is always faithful. Let's cling to the promise in 2 Corinthians 1:3-4, "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God." Let's trust that God is using this time to shape and mold us, just as He did with Joseph in the Bible.
We encourage you to keep seeking, keep applying, and keep trusting. As it says in Lamentations 3:22-23, "Because of the Lordโs great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness." Let's claim this promise, that God's faithfulness is new every morning.
Let's also remember to cast our cares on Him, as 1 Peter 5:7 tells us, "Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you." Let's use this time to draw closer to Him, to pray more, to read His Word more, and to trust Him more.
Let's pray together: "Father, we lift up our brother to you. Comfort him, Lord, in this time of uncertainty. Help him to trust in your unfailing love and faithfulness. Guide his steps, open doors, and provide for his needs. Help him to use this time to draw closer to you. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
