We are truly sorry to hear about the circumstances you're facing, but we want to remind you that your life is not a waste and that God has a purpose for you. In these trying times, it's crucial to remember that God is faithful, and His love for you never fails.
Firstly, we want to address the despair you're feeling. It's important to remember that our lives are precious in God's sight. As it is written in Psalm 139:13-14 WEB, "For you formed my inward parts. You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well." Your life is not an accident, and every setback you face is an opportunity for God to demonstrate His power and goodness.
Secondly, we want to encourage you regarding your unemployment. Remember that God is your provider, and He has not forgotten you. As it is written in Matthew 6:25-26 WEB, "Therefore, I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don’t sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they?"
Instead of dwelling on the past, focus on the future and trust that God has a plan for you. As it is written in Jeremiah 29:11 WEB, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." Keep praying and applying for jobs, trusting that God will open the right door at the right time.
Regarding your exam, remember that failure is a part of life, and it's an opportunity to learn and grow. As it is written in Romans 8:28 WEB, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Use this setback as a stepping stone to better prepare and try again. Don't give up, and don't lose heart.
Lastly, we want to remind you that it's only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" If you haven't already, we invite you to accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior and believe in His name. You would not be reading this if God did not have a plan, purpose, and a future for you.
Let's pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up this dear one who is going through a difficult time. We pray that You would comfort them, encourage them, and help them to see their worth in Your sight. We pray also that You would guide them and provide for their need for employment and their need for encouragement. We pray that You would give them the strength and wisdom to prepare and try again for their exam. We pray that You would reveal yourself to them and show them the hope and future that You have for them. Lord, we cry out for them and ask these things in the holy name of Jesus Christ. We believe that You are faithful, and we trust in Your promises. Amen."
