Ever found yourself quickly labeling someone as a narcissist without truly grasping the concept? Today, we debunk myths and misconceptions around narcissism and selfishness. Kimberly discusses the evolution of narcissism from a personality trait to a diagnosable disorder, currently affecting only 1% of the population. In an era where internet has birthed a surge in self-proclaimed 'narcissists', we emphasize the need to fully understand the term and the dangers it holds when misused.

We then transition into discussing ways to deal with those who exhibit narcissistic traits or heightened selfishness in our relationships. Contrary to popular belief, the answer isn't tough love or firm boundaries, but empathy. We explore the idea of understanding where the selfishness is originating from – fear, low self-esteem, or changing personal desires. We also highlight the importance of setting healthy boundaries and protecting oneself in these situations.

Relationship Radio is hosted by CEO of Marriage Helper, Kimberly Beam Holmes, and founder of Marriage Helper, Dr. Joe Beam.

Regardless of your situation, what we teach will not only make your relationships better, but will also help you to become the best version of yourself along the way.

Relationship Radio is released every Wednesday and is an extension of Marriage Helper.

Narcissism and selfishness comes from satan to us who did not give ourselves to Jesus saving grace and mercy. This devils come to us as unreasonable high sense of their importance, that is pride inside the unsaved soul who cares nothing about others but himself or herself. A selfish person is the samething as do not care for others, I only care for me and no one else. Jesus was against this horrible personality disorder brought o us by satan who want us all not to love others or care them, but only seek your own objectives. Let us all fast and pray for those who are perishing and going straight to hells burning fire.
