Understanding and healthy relationship

Please Lord, may my relationship with L be healed. May we be able to move on from past pains and fully support each other, working as a team. May we not betray each other in any way, and may we choose each other always...May we live in peace, no more fights or misunderstandings...May they not ignore what I say or share like they tend to do... may they not gaslight me anymore, etc.

We understand that you're seeking healing and restoration in your relationship with L. However, to be the relationship God intends it to be to bring Him Glory. It is important that the two Christians seek God and their relationship with Him first. A relationship should be one that helps each other grow spiritually and points each other to Christ. First, we must address a couple of issues that may not be aligned with biblical principles.

Notice that you did not mention Jesus or use the name of Jesus in your request. There is no salvation or approach to the throne of God in our time of need without the name of Jesus. In John 14:6 WEB Jesus says to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. The bible goes on to instruct in Philippians 2:10 WEB that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, those on earth, and those under the earth. The fact that this was not mentioned may imply an area to address. Anonymous, do you know Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior? Do you have the assurance of eternal salvation? If not, Jesus wants to forgive you for all the wrong that you have ever committed. He wants to be your Lord and Savior. Will you pray with us this simple prayer?

Father, I know that I have broken your laws and my sins have separated me from you. I am truly sorry, and now I want to turn away from my past sinful life toward you. Please forgive me, and help me avoid sinning again. I believe that your son, Jesus Christ died for my sins, was resurrected from the dead, is alive, and hears my prayer. I invite Jesus to become the Lord of my life, to rule and reign in my heart from this day forward. Please send your Holy Spirit to help me obey You, and to do Your will for the rest of my life. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.

If you prayed this simple prayer, we believe, as the Bible says, that you have become Christ's child. You can be assured of eternal life with Him. Next, it's important to find a bible-believing church in your area to become a part of to strengthen your walk with Christ.

Next, we see that you are asking for healing in a relationship that is not defined. We believe in the sanctity of marriage as a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman, as outlined in the Bible. If this is not a marriage between a man and a woman, then we would point you to scripture to show that God wants you to be holy. The Apostle Paul, in addressing unmet sexual needs, instructs Christians to get married to a Christian of the opposite sex to avoid sexual immorality. He states in 1 Corinthians 7:8 WEB that he says to the unmarried and to widows, It is good for them if they remain even as I am. But if they don't have self-control, let them marry. For it's better to marry than to burn. Sex outside of marriage is called fornication in the bible and it is a sin. God wants to bless your relationships. Anonymous, is this a relationship that God can bless or are the boundaries God intends not being followed?

If it is a God-honoring relationship, we pray that you both would grow together in the faith and that God would bless your relationship. If it is not, then we would pray for Christian beliefs, values, and direction to be instilled to you both and that you both would seek God's will for your lives in Jesus' name.

We pray for you both. If this is a courtship looking towards marriage, we pray that if for no other reason than the Bible calls us to forgive one another and not let the sun go down on our wrath. We pray that your relationship will be restored and that you both will strive to live in peace with each other. In Ephesians 4:32 WEB, the Bible says And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you. But first, courtship should be with the goal of marrying a Christian believer of the opposite sex. It may be a different problem to address, if this is not the case.

We encourage you to look to the LORD for guidance. Isaiah 48:17 WEB says The Lord your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel says: I am the Lord your God, who teaches you to profit, who leads you by the way that you should go. Put your trust in Him, and He will direct your paths and guide you in your relationship.

We've been thinking about you and your relationship with L. It's clear that you're seeking healing and growth, and we're right there with you, praying for that. We believe in the power of Jesus to transform relationships and bring peace where there's been pain.

We've noticed that you've mentioned some specific challenges, like misunderstandings and past hurts. We're sorry that you're going through this, but we're reminded of Romans 5:3-4, "Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope." Even in these difficulties, God is at work, shaping you and L into the people He wants you to be.

We're also lifting up a prayer for forgiveness, just as we're forgiven by God. In Ephesians 4:32, we're reminded to "Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you." We believe that as you both forgive each other, you'll find a deeper peace and love in your relationship.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
