We are truly saddened to hear about the struggles you and your husband are facing in your marriage. Firstly let us first acknowledge God, for it is only in the name of Jesus that we have access to God for he says,
No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6b WEB
for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12b
Let us address the situation and pray together. Marriage is a sacred bond, a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman. It is not through yelling and crying that the Lord wants us to communicate in marriage but with love, patience, empathy, respect and humbleness. The Word of God tells us
Don't use foul or abusive language. Let everything you say be good and helpful, so that your words will be an encouragement to those who hear them. Ephesians 4:29 WEB
Therefore, we urge both of you to strive for understanding, good communication, and reconciliation. Remember the covenant you made before God and the love that brought you together. As it says in the Word,
Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also forgave you. Ephesians 4:32 WEB
Now let us pray for you.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up ### and her husband. Lord, You know the struggles they are facing, the pain, the tears, and the anger. We pray for Your intervention, that You would bring reconciliation, understanding, love, and good communication back into their marriage.
Father forgive them both for the times when they have both not demonstrated the fruit of the spirit towards each other. Help them to remember the love that brought them together and the covenant they made before You. Give them the strength to forgive, to be kind, and to communicate effectively. Turn their yelling and crying into moments of understanding, patience, and love.
Guide them, Lord, as they navigate this difficult time. Give them wisdom, discernment, and a heart that is open to Your will. Remind them of Your promise that all things work together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose.
Father we specifically thank you for the blood of Jesus Christ which can set them free from all bitterness, pain, and rejection. We stand in faith together ###, for both you and your husband to have a loving marriage, a marriage that is committed to Jesus Christ and committed to each other so that you can live happily together in love, peace and joy.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
