We understand that you're feeling uncomfortable with some of your coworkers, and we want to assure you that God cares about every detail of your life, including your workplace environment. First, we want to encourage you with God's Word: "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight" Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB).
It's important to remember that God has placed you in your workplace for a purpose, and He wants you to be a light and salt to those around you including your coworkers.
In regards to your coworkers, Jesus tells us to love our neighbors as ourselves. We are to "do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you" Matthew 5:44 (WEB).
When you remain silent before them, you are missing out on an opportunity to be a light to those around you. If they are hostile to your faith, take heart, for Jesus has told us that "If the world hates you, you know that it has hated me before it hated you" John 15:18 (WEB). Remember that Jesus has overcome the world.
We also encourage you to be wise and discerning in your interactions. If there are legitimate concerns about their intentions or actions, it's important to be cautious and set appropriate boundaries, and pray for them.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, in Jesus' name, lifting up our brother/sister who is feeling uncomfortable in their workplace. Lord, we ask that You grant them wisdom and discernment as they interact with their coworkers. Help them to be a light and witness to others.
If there are those with bad intentions or ungodly actions, Lord, we pray that they would not be able to harm our brother/sister. We pray that our brother/sister would remain aware of their surroundings and to you. We pray that You would soften the hearts of these coworkers and draw them to Yourself, Father.
Help our brother/sister to trust in You with all their heart and lean not on their own understanding. In all their ways, may they acknowledge You, so that You can direct their paths and be at peace. In Jesus name, we pray. Amen.
