It's ironic that those who have sought to torment me, reason in their own minds, that my attitude is the cause for their lack of humanity and compassion toward me, when they don'teven know me, but are acting based, primarily, on some online lies. BUT GOD uses the ensign to forewarn the city, whose attitude He defines as haughty, obstinate, and rebellious toward Him, of impending disaster, usually because of idolatry. The city has rarely taken heed.
Idolatry: Worshiping other gods. Placing others (person, place, or thing) above Him, particularly in following their instructions instead of His.
God left a whole manual full of instructions:
Micah 6:8 He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.
(Nowhere in the text does God tell you to cast out His servants.)
Idolatry and righteousness cannot be mixed, for such is lukewarm. Therefore, to those who call themselves by His name (believers), He warns: 2 Corinthians 6:17 Therefore, come out from among unbelievers, and separate yourselves from them, says the LORD. Don’t touch their filthy things, and I will welcome you.
Simply put, do not engage in their sinfulness and unholy rituals, and take no part in their idolatries. It's interesting, I look tore up-from the floor up, when I get up from sleeping on the street, on a box, the night before; but it's the city whom God describes as "a thing of horror."
It was never about a baseball game people; but all about the church and city's attitude in the spiritual realm.
There is so much more to share of how God has woven this assignment together in this city. I'm remain in absolute awe.
