We are truly sorry to hear about Uncle Andrew's condition. Let us first remind ourselves of God's promise in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds."
Dear Lord, we lift up Uncle Andrew to You. He is in pain and struggling to sleep due to shingles. We ask for Your divine touch, that You would heal him and take away his pain. Please grant him peaceful sleep and comfort his heart. In Jesus' name, we pray.
Cindy, it's wonderful that you're concerned about your uncle and seeking God's intervention. We encourage you to continue in prayer, trusting in God's will and timing. Remember what Jesus said in Mark 11:24, "Therefore I tell you, all things whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you have received them, and you shall have them."
Also, we noticed that your prayer does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It's important to know that Jesus said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." And as Peter preached in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved." So, we encourage you to pray in Jesus' name, as it is through Him that we have access to God's throne of grace.
Lastly, we would like to emphasize the importance of seeking medical attention alongside prayers. God often uses doctors and medicine to bring about healing. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect.
