We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles you are facing, and we want you to know that we are here to pray with you and offer biblical guidance. First, let's address the feelings of unanswered prayers. We read in Matthew 21:22 WEB And whatever you shall ask in prayer, believing, you shall receive and in 1 John 5:14-15 WEB This is the boldness which we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our fellow believer who is hurting and feeling overwhelmed. Lord, we ask that You comfort and strengthen them in this time of need. Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, because You care for them (1 Peter 5:7 WEB). Father, we ask for a breaking in the situation with their daughter and bring about a repentant turning to you in everyone's heart.
Lord, we also pray for their church, that You would intervene and bring healing, restoration, and forgiveness to those who are falling from what they have been taught and leaving the flock. Father, will you guide this individual to a solid biblical church that preaches the Word of God and equips them to grow in their faith with other believers. We pray for the grace and wisdom to shine the light of Christ in their homes and in their community.
Father, we ask that You reveal Yourself to them in a powerful way, that they may know that You are always with them, even in the darkest of times. Give them the strength to endure the trials and tribulations. We pray that they can experience the fullness of a supernatural joy in Christ Jesus even when nothing seems to be changing for them. Remind them that weeping endures for a night, but joy comes in the morning.
Lord, we also pray for their marriage, that You would intervene and bring healing and restoration.
In all these prayers we pray according to the will of The Father, this we pray in Jesus' name.
Lastly, we want to encourage you to continue seeking God and trusting in His promises. Remember that God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9 WEB). Even when we don't see or feel Him working, He is always at work for our good and His glory (Romans 8:28 WEB).
Keep holding on to your faith, and don't let go of God's unchanging hand. We are here for you, and we believe that God will turn your situation around for His glory.
We noticed that Jesus was not mentioned in the prayer request. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God. And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12
