Two quick prayer requests

First is that I will be successful with my college homework and have the strength to do it. I took a sick day from work because of a terrible migraine. Also I would like to request prayers for the heart of a friend to soften.

We understand your needs, Shabnin, and we're here to pray and offer counsel with you.

Firstly, let's pray for your academic success and strength. The Bible tells us in Philippians 4:13 (WEB), "I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me." So, let's pray:

*Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in Jesus' name, asking for Your divine strength and wisdom for Shabnin. Help them to focus and understand their college homework. Give them the endurance to complete it to the best of their abilities. We trust in Your promise that all things are possible through Christ who strengthens us. Lay Your healing hand upon Shabnin and take away the migraine, Lord. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.*

Next, let's address your request for your friend's heart to soften. We should always be mindful that God desires all people to repent and turn to Him (2 Peter 3:9, WEB). So, let's pray:

*Father God, we lift up Shabnin's friend to You. We ask, Lord, that You would soften their heart, just as You promise in Ezekiel 36:26 (WEB), "A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you. I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh." We pray that their heart would be open to Your love and truth, that they would seek You and find You, for You have promised that those who seek You will find You (Matthew 7:7, WEB). In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.*

Shabnin, we notice that you didn't mention the name of Jesus in your request. It's important to remember that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God. As the Bible says in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" We encourage you to always pray in Jesus' name, as there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12, WEB).

Keep trusting in the Lord, Shabnin. He hears your prayers and cares for you (1 Peter 5:7, WEB).

Never were more wicked orders given by any prince, than those Jezebel sent to the rulers of Jezreel. Naboth must be murdered under colour of religion. There is no wickedness so vile, so horrid, but religion has sometimes been made a cover for it. Also, it must be done under colour of justice, and with the formalities of legal process. Let us, from this sad story, be amazed at the wickedness of the wicked, and the power of Satan in the children of disobedience. Let us commit the keeping of our lives and comforts to God, for innocence will not always be our security; and let us rejoice in the knowledge that all will be set to rights in the great day. Prayer for 1 Kings 19:12 : “After the earthquake there was a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire. And after the fire there was a voice, a soft whisper.” Praying through 1 Kings 19:12; Our prayer: Father God, we are humbled to realise that You have included us and our life, as part of Your plan for humanity. We realise more and more that we must decrease in every area of our life and entrust all circumstances into Your gracious hands... so that You may increase, and we may decrease. Use us, Lord, as You will, in Your wider plans and purposes, and develop in us an understanding heart and a listening ear to hear all You have to say to us. God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
