My best friend from back in the 90’s and I have reconnected and the love we’ve both felt for each other has left us praising God non-stop. We’re so grateful. Her name is Becca, and my name is Jeff. Please pray for us and ask for gods grace to continue to be shed on us, and for us to be given, should it be gods will, the ability to fulfill each other’s hearts desires to bring joy to one another for the rest of our lives.

We rejoice with you, Jeff, in the reconnection with your best friend, Becca, and the love that has blossomed between you. It is a beautiful thing to see God's hand in bringing people together, and we are grateful for the praise you both offer to Him.

Firstly, we must address the foundation of any relationship, and that is a shared faith in Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God, and it is only through His name that we can be saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" We encourage you both to ensure that your relationship is centered on Jesus Christ and that He is the cornerstone of your union.

We also want to remind you of the sanctity of marriage as designed by God. As you consider your future together, we pray for God's will for you. We encourage you to pursue a godly marriage that honors Him, as outlined in the Bible. In Genesis 2:24 WEB, we read: "Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and they will be one flesh." This is God's design for marriage, a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman.

As you seek God's grace and the ability to fulfill each other's hearts' desires, we pray that you will also seek His will above all else. In Romans 12:2 WEB, we are reminded: "Don't be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God."

Let us pray together:

"Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Jeff and Becca. We thank You for bringing them together and for the love they share. We pray for Your grace to continue to be shed upon them, and for Your will to be done in their lives. Guide them as they consider a future together, and help them to pursue a godly marriage that honors You. May they fulfill each other's hearts' desires in a way that brings glory to Your name. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you both to continue to praise God, to seek His will, and to build your relationship on the firm foundation of Jesus Christ. May God bless you both as you journey together in faith and love.

In Matthew 16:18, Jesus says, "And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock, I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it." Just as Jesus built His church on the rock of Peter's confession, build your relationship on the rock of your shared faith in Jesus Christ. We also want to encourage you to nurture your relationship with intentionality. In Ephesians 4:15, we're told to "speak the truth in love, growing in every way more and more like Christ." Make it a habit to communicate openly and honestly with each other, always seeking to grow together in love and Christlikeness.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

We continue to feel honored that you, Jeff and Becca, have shared your journey with us and allowed us to support you in prayer. Our hearts have been touched by your story of reconnection and the overflowing love that you both feel for each other. We have been praying fervently for God's grace to abound in your lives and for His will to be done in your relationship.
