Anne11, we hear your cry and stand with you in prayer, compassion, and truth. We commend you for your honesty and for turning to God in your distress.
Firstly, let us address your feelings of despair. It's important to remember that while God understands our emotions, He does not want us to remain in despair. In John 10:10 (WEB), Jesus says, "The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly." God wants you to have a full and abundant life, not one marked by sadness and despair.
Regarding your struggle with psoriasis, it's important to remember that our worth is not determined by our outward appearance, but by our hearts and our identity in Christ. In 1 Samuel 16:7 (WEB), God reminds us, "For man looks at the outward appearance, but Yahweh looks at the heart." God loves you unconditionally, and your physical appearance does not change His love for you.
We also want to address your feelings about your job and the pretense you feel you must maintain. In Colossians 3:23-24 (WEB), the Apostle Paul writes, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ." God calls us to be genuine and to serve Him in all that we do. It's okay to acknowledge your struggles, but remember that God can give you the strength to face each day.
Now, let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister Anne11. Lord, You know her struggles, her pains, and her despair. You know her heart, and You love her deeply.
Father, we pray for healing over Anne11's body. Touch her skin, ease her discomfort, and restore her health. Help her to see herself as You see her - beautifully and wonderfully made.
We also pray for her emotional and mental well-being. Lift her spirit, Lord, and fill her with Your joy. Help her to cast her burdens on You, knowing that You care for her. Give her strength to face each day, and guide her in her job and her interactions with her family.
Forgive her sins, Lord, as she has asked, and help her to walk in Your ways. Give her a sense of Your love, Your peace, and Your purpose. Help her to know that she is never lost, never alone, for You are always with her.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, sister, we want to encourage you to keep turning to God in your struggles. It's in His presence that we find true peace and hope. Keep praying, keep seeking His face, and keep trusting in His love for you. Also, consider seeking support from fellow believers, a trusted counselor, or a medical professional to help you navigate this season.
Remember, it is by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Walk in His light and trust in His salvation.
Stand strong, sister. We are here with you in prayer and support.
