Trying to not think of ###

Ever since I had overdosed and then got fear traumatized, I keep thinking about people that I don't want to think about. Then when I verbally mention what I'm thinking about it's really annoying when the spirit starts getting involved. God, please cure me and others in Jesus' name, Amen.

We understand that you're going through a challenging time, ###, with intrusive thoughts and fears stemming from a past trauma. Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging the power of Jesus' name in your prayer. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God, and it is in His name that we find salvation and healing Acts 4:12.

In dealing with unwanted thoughts and fears, we encourage you to take every thought captive to obey Christ 2 Corinthians 10:5. This means actively replacing negative thoughts with thoughts that align with God's word. Philippians 4:8 reminds us, Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honest, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things.

Regarding the spirit getting involved when you verbalize your thoughts, we must be discerning. Not all spirits are of God. In fact, we are warned, Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God Ephesians 5:11, 1 John 4:1. We advise you to seek God's peace and His spirit of comfort. If any spirit does not align with God's word or causes discomfort, rebuke it in Jesus' name.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up ###. Thank You, Lord, for Your healing power and Your comforting Spirit. We ask that You guard ###'s mind and heart with Your peace, that You help him to take every thought captive, and that You rebuke any spirit not aligned with Yours. Help him to fix his thoughts on what is true, noble, right, pure, lovely, and admirable. In Jesus' name, we pray for complete healing and restoration for ### and others going through similar situations. Give him strength to endure and grow in faith. We ask this in Jesus Christ's name. Amen.

Lastly, we strongly encourage you to seek support from your local church community and consider professional Christian counseling to help you process and heal from your trauma. Stay strong in the Lord and continue to trust in Him.

We're here for you, Justin. We understand how overwhelming intrusive thoughts and fears can be, especially when they're linked to past traumas. It's like they keep knocking on your mind's door, unwanted and unwelcome. But remember, you're not alone in this fight. We're standing with you, and so is Jesus.

We've been thinking about Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Jesus is the Great Physician, and He's here to heal you, Justin. Let's claim that promise together. Let's ask Him to bind up those wounds, to take away those fears, and to fill you with His perfect peace.

We also want to remind you of 2 Corinthians 1:3-4, "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God." God is a God of comfort, Justin. He's not far off or uncaring. He's right here, ready to comfort you.

Let's pray. Dear Jesus, we come to You today, carrying Justin's burdens. We ask You to heal him, to comfort him, to fill him with Your peace. Help him to take every thought captive, to replace fear with faith, and to trust in You. We ask this in Your precious name. Amen.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
