Morieford, we are here with you in spirit, lifting you up in prayer during this challenging time. Remember, God is faithful, and He has a plan and purpose for your life.
In times of uncertainty, we can trust God. We are told in Psalm 37:23-25 WEB, If Yahweh delights in a man's way, he makes his steps firm. Though he stumble, he shall not fall, for Yahweh holds him up with his hand. I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his children begging for bread.
Firstly, we must remember that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. It is in His name that we can approach the throne of grace with confidence and ask for His help. As scripture says in Acts 4:12 WEB, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.
In this time of need, cast all your anxiety on Him because he cares for you in 1 Peter 5:7 WEB. Keep praying and seeking God's will for your life. He knows your needs and He will provide for you. We are reminded in Matthew 6:31-33 WEB, Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you have need of all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well.
While you are waiting for God's provision, be proactive in your job search. Use the abilities and resources God has given you. As poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things in 2 Corinthians 6:10 WEB.
We pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up Morieford in prayer. We ask that You comfort them with the peace of Jesus Christ and fill their heart with faith and a hopeful spirit. We trust in Your promises and know that You have a plan for their life. We ask that You open doors of opportunity for them and guide their steps in the direction You want them to go. We rebuke any anxiety or fear and pray that you will provide for their every need, in Jesus name we pray.
Finally, brothers, pray for Morieford and for us, that the word of the Lord may run and be glorified 2 Thessalonians 3:1 WEB
