Please Lord.. May when I share the truth today, may it be heard and believed. May you provide them with the discernment and wisdom to see that this is true... May we support each other through it. Also..is it OK to ask a pastor to pray for my dad who is abusive towards us and is preaching falsely?...(like he pretends to be something in front of others and with us he is satan) Or is it wrong to tell him that? In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

We understand that you're seeking to share the truth and ask for guidance regarding your father. Firstly, it's commendable that you're seeking to speak the truth in love, as we're instructed in Ephesians 4:15, "But speaking truth in love, we may grow up in all things into him, who is the head, Christ."

When sharing the truth, it's essential to remember that it's not our eloquence or wisdom that convinces others, but the power of the Holy Spirit. As it says in 1 Corinthians 2:4-5, "And my speech and my preaching were not in persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, that your faith wouldn't stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God." So, pray for the Holy Spirit to open the hearts of those you're sharing with.

Regarding your father, it's important to remember that God calls us to honor our parents, as it says in Ephesians 6:2, "Honor your father and mother," which is the first commandment with a promise. However, honoring does not mean enduring abuse. It's crucial to set boundaries to protect yourself and your family from harm.

It is absolutely appropriate to ask your pastor to pray for your father. He needs prayer for his abusive behavior and his false teaching. It's also wise to seek the pastor’s counsel on how to handle this situation. As it says in 1 Timothy 5:1, "Don't rebuke an older man, but exhort him as a father; younger men as brothers."

However, it's also important to expose the deeds of darkness, as it says in Ephesians 5:11, "Have no fellowship with the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but rather even reprove them." So, while you should honor your father, you should also speak the truth about his actions in love.

"Father, we come before you in Jesus' name, asking for wisdom and discernment for our brother as they share the truth today. May the Holy Spirit open the hearts of those they're sharing with, and may the truth be heard and believed.

We also lift up their father, asking for a change in his heart and behavior. May he turn away from abuse and false teaching, and towards the truth of the gospel. Guide our brother as they seek their pastor’s counsel and prayer.

Protect them and their family from harm, and give them the strength to speak the truth in love. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
