Bernen, we are blessed to join you in prayer and we commend you for your desire to trust God more fully. It's wonderful that you acknowledge that Jesus alone is able to help you. Let's turn to the Word of God for encouragement and guidance.
Firstly, we want to remind you that trusting God is a journey, and it's normal to have moments of doubt. Even the apostle Peter, who was one of Jesus' closest disciples, had moments of little faith. But remember what Jesus said to him: "Why did you doubt?" (Matthew 14:31 WEB).
We must also discuss the fact that your prayer did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, Jesus, or Christ or an abbreviation such as IJN (In Jesus Name). It is essential to remember that It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. The Bible tells us, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB). We must pray in Jesus' name. Also, scripture tells us, "And in none other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12 WEB).
Now, let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in Jesus Christ's name, lifting up Bernen, who has humbly come to You seeking forgiveness and trust. Lord, forgive Bernen for the times when doubt crept in and trust waned. Help Bernen to remember that You alone are faithful, even when we are faithless (2 Timothy 2:13 WEB).
Father, we ask that You strengthen Bernen's faith. Help Bernen to trust in You with all his heart, and not rely solely on his own understanding (Proverbs 3:5 WEB).
Lord Jesus Christ, you tell us that anyone who comes to you, you will never turn away (John 6:37 WEB). You promise us that if we ask for anything in your name, you will do it (John 14:14 WEB).
Help Bernen to walk in faith, growing stronger and more confident in Your love and power. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
