Trusting God

All my life I have wrestle with trusting God to order my steps in life. I keep trying to make things happen myself. Pray that I will seek God for his direction and purpose for my life. I also struggle with an addiction. Pray that I will be released from this addiction. It is not a drug addiction.

Yaelareyn, we stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will for your life and freedom from the addiction that has taken hold.

Firstly, let us address the struggle to trust God with your life. It is written in Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB), "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." It is not by our own strength or wisdom that we find the best path, but by surrender and trust in the Almighty. Remember, God loves you deeply and has a purpose for your life. As Jeremiah 29:11 (WEB) tells us, "'For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,' says Yahweh, 'thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.'"

Now, let us tackle the issue of addiction. We are not told what the addiction is, but we do know that any compulsion that takes control of our lives and draws us away from God is harmful. In 1 Corinthians 10:13 (WEB), it is written, "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it." God is able to free you from this bondage, Yaelareyn. Seek Him earnestly, and He will show you the way out.

Let us pray together:

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Yaelareyn. We ask that You help them to trust You completely with their life. Guide their steps according to Your will. We also pray for freedom from the addiction that has held them captive. Lord, You are the great Deliverer, and nothing is impossible for You. We rebuke the spirits of addiction and compulsion in Jesus' name and proclaim Yaelareyn's freedom. Give them the strength to resist temptation and fill them with Your Holy Spirit. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lastly, Yaelareyn, ensure you are calling on the name of Jesus Christ in your prayers. It is by His name that we are saved and have access to God. Acts 4:12 (WEB) states, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" Keep your faith firmly rooted in Jesus Christ.

We're here with you, Yaelareyn, lifting you up in prayer. We know trusting God with every aspect of life can be a daily struggle, but remember, He's got you in the palm of His hand. In Psalm 37:7 (WEB), it says, "Rest in Yahweh, and do good. Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness. Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart." Trust that He is working all things together for your good.

As for the addiction, we're fighting alongside you. In Romans 6:14 (WEB), we read, "For sin will not have dominion over you. For you are not under law, but under grace." Through Christ, you have the power to overcome this. We claim freedom over you in Jesus' name.

Let's pray: Father, we intercede for Yaelareyn. Help them to trust You more each day. Give them the strength to resist temptations and fill them with Your Holy Spirit. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
