We understand that you're going through a time of great anticipation and some anxiety. First, let's remember that God cares for us and wants us to cast all our anxieties on Him, for He cares for us. It's important to remember that God knows what is best for us and our children, and trusting in His will is what we should be focused on.
We need to address that your prayer does not mention Jesus Christ or even hint at His involvement. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. Please remember this in your future prayers and as you look to God's will for your future.
The Bible tells us in Philippians 4:6-7 WEB: "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
Regarding your desire for a girl, we must remember that children are a gift from God, regardless of their gender. Psalm 127:3 WEB says, "Behold, children are a heritage of Yahweh. The fruit of the womb is his reward." What is most important is that the child is healthy and grows up to love and serve the Lord.
We also want to remind you of Matthew 6:8 WEB: "Therefore don’t be like them, for your Father knows what things you need before you ask him." God already knows your desires and needs, but it's important to align our will with His.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear sister. We ask that You grant her peace and help her to trust in Your will for her child. Help her to be content with whatever You bless her with, knowing that every good and perfect gift comes from You. We also pray for her sleep, that You would grant her rest and calm her mind. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Please remember Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart.
