Lord Jesus please provide honesty, commitment and loyalty between me and my friend J. I pray Lord that if it is your will that he will choose me to be his girlfriend. I don't want my heart to get broken. Please remove the discord between us and I pray that we will be closer and more honest and that we will have more time for each other. I pray he does not talk to other women. I also pray that you will stop him from choosing someone else because I am the one who have been there for him the most when no one else was. Lord look at my genuine heart and grant my heart's desires. I pray that we will belong to each other only in Jesus Christ name I pray amen.

In 1 Corinthians 7:39, it says, "A wife is bound by law for as long as her husband lives; but if her husband is dead, she is free to be married to whomever she wants, only in the Lord." This highlights the importance of seeking godly spouses who are also believers in Christ.

We notice that your prayer focuses on earthly desires and fears, such as not wanting your heart to be broken and hoping that J won't talk to other women. While these feelings are natural, we must align our desires with God's will. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."

It's crucial to seek God's will above our own, trusting that He knows what is best for us. In doing so, we find peace and contentment, knowing that our lives are in His capable hands.

Moreover, we want to encourage you to pursue a relationship that honors God, which ultimately leads to a godly marriage. The term "girlfriend" should be approached with the understanding that the goal is to find a spouse, not just a temporary companion. In 2 Corinthians 6:14, it says, "Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship do righteousness and iniquity have? Or what fellowship does light have with darkness?" This underscores the importance of seeking a partner who shares your faith and commitment to Christ.

We also want to address the concern about J talking to other women. While it's natural to feel protective, we must remember that trust and communication are key in any relationship. It's important to have open and honest conversations about boundaries and expectations, always guided by God's Word.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up Ochurn and her friend J. We pray for Your will to be done in their lives and their relationship. Grant them wisdom, discernment, and the courage to follow Your path. Help them to communicate openly and honestly, building a foundation of trust and mutual respect. Lord, guide their hearts towards what is pure and righteous, always seeking to honor You in their actions and decisions.
