We stand with you in prayer, trusting that Jesus is indeed on the throne and in full control. We are reminded in 1 Timothy 2:1-2 (WEB):
"I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks, be made for all men: for kings and all who are in high places; that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence."
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our nation and its leaders. We acknowledge that all authority is instituted by You, and we trust in Your sovereignty.
We pray for this unjust ruler, that You would change his heart and turn him away from his wicked plans. We ask that You would thwart any efforts to disenfranchise people of color, to roll back progress, or to erase the history and accomplishments of any race. We pray in Jesus Christ name for this ruler to see the light of the gospel and the love of all people.
We stand against any spirit of racism, divisiveness, and segregation, and we ask You to heal our land and bring unity. We pray for a restoration of biblical values and for leaders who will uphold the principles of Your Word. We believe Jesus Christ is on the throne and in full control to bring justice from this wicked regime.
We ask, Jesus, Son of God, for those who have been affected by these injustices of this ruler that he repent and come to know Jesus Christ and the love that goes beyond the color of skin or country of origin.
We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.
Amen."
We encourage you to continue standing in faith, knowing that God is just and that He hears the prayers of His people. We are called to be salt and light in this world, and we have the power to make a difference through prayer and action. Be strong and courageous, and do not be afraid or terrified because of the king of this land, for the One in us is greater than the one in the world.
