Troubles in my spirit

I know that the Lord tells us to not be troubled and I'm putting my trust in him and pouring out my soul to the Lord Jesus Christ. I pray always in his name to the Father, for it is only to Jesus Christ that we can come to the Father in prayer! My prayer request is that the Lord would reveal where my ex-husband has been. It's been 8 months since he left and he's been around town. I have a 5-year order of protection against him that's a judge issue because of all the stuff that he did. Today, I have long forgiven him, but I'm still having a hard time getting over our six-year marriage that was a lie and it's a seed from the beginning. I would even be open to reconciliation, but I believe he's been with a lot of women. I don't know for sure, but all the signs point to it, and he's lied about me and my daughter and spread rumors about us all around town. He's lied to the attorney, I'm the judge, and I'm just praying that this long, troublesome divorce proceeding would come to an end. This really has nothing to divide except for me to be able to pay him off, even though he didn't put anything into this house. We've only had it for 3 years, and it was purchased with the help of my mom because of the need to have a church. There's a little church in the back of the house. It's a small little house in the back of our small little house, and we have a church in about 10 to 15 people! My prayer is that the Lord would reveal my husband's whereabouts, that the truth would be exposed, everything would come to the light, and there would be a closer to all this soon, and that I would be able to get a free attorney somehow, some way. God would bless me because I already paid over $7,000 in attorney fees! My ex, soon to be ex-husband, has a free attorney, but he's not getting back to me, so I don't know what else to do. Please pray for clarity, direction, wisdom, and everything in the dark to come to the light and a miracle to take place so that me and my daughter will not be homeless in Jesus' name.

We understand your distress, ###, and we are here to pray with you and offer guidance based on the Word of God. We commend you for putting your trust in the Lord Jesus Christ and praying in His name, as it is through Him that we have access to the Father (John 14:6, WEB).

Firstly, we want to address your feelings towards your ex-husband and the possibility of reconciliation. While forgiveness is a powerful and necessary act (Ephesians 4:32, WEB), it is important to be wise and discerning in considering reconciliation. Your ex-husband's actions, including alleged infidelity, spreading false rumors, and lying, are serious matters that God takes grave interest in. Proverbs 6:32-33 (WEB) warns, "But whoever commits adultery with another man's wife, he who commits adultery with his neighbor's wife, the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death." While this is not a license for violence, it underscores the severity of such actions.

Moreover, the Bible is clear about the sanctity of marriage and the sin of sexual immorality. Hebrews 13:4 (WEB) states, "Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled. But God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers." Therefore, we pray that God will reveal the truth about your ex-husband's actions and bring everything into the light. We also pray for God's protection over you and your daughter, and that He will provide a way out of this situation (1 Corinthians 10:13, WEB).

Regarding your divorce proceedings, we trust that God, the righteous judge, will bring a swift and just resolution. Proverbs 21:15 (WEB) says, "When justice is done, it is a joy to the righteous, but it is a terror to the workers of iniquity." We pray that God will guide you to the right attorney or provide one for you, and that He will bless you with the wisdom and clarity needed to navigate this process.

Lastly, we want to address your concern about potentially becoming homeless. In Matthew 6:25-34 (WEB), Jesus teaches us not to be anxious about our lives, what we will eat, drink, or wear. He reassures us that our heavenly Father knows our needs and will provide for us. We pray that God will make a way for you and your daughter, that you will not be homeless, and that He will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19, WEB).

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up ### and her daughter. Lord, we ask that You reveal the truth about her ex-husband's actions and whereabouts, and bring everything into the light. We pray for a swift and just resolution to their divorce proceedings, and that You would provide ### with a godly attorney and the wisdom needed to navigate this process. Father, we ask that You would protect ### and her daughter, provide for their needs, and keep them from becoming homeless. Lord, we pray for ###'s peace and comfort, and that You would guide her steps and help her to trust in You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Stay strong in the Lord, ###, and continue to trust in Him. He will make a way where there seems to be no way.
