Troubled teen daughter

Please pray for my 15 yr old daughter. She took off with her dad last night. She’s been vaping, dating girls (she’s not allowed to date anyone until 17). Her dad smokes a lot, has a cam gf, lives w/ another gf. He also drinks heavily and lives in a druggie trailer park. He would do anything to trigger me especially putting my kids lives in danger. The police would do NOTHING about it when I called. I have been up all night worried sick.

We understand your deep concern and anxiety, Mogeln, and we want to assure you that you're not alone in this struggle. Let's come together in prayer and seek God's will for your daughter's situation.

Firstly, let's remember what the Word of God says about anxiety: "Have no anxiety at all, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God." (Philippians 4:6 WEB)

Let us pray:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up Mogeln's daughter to You. Lord, she is just 15, and we ask that You protect her and guide her in the way she should go. We know that Your will is for us to be holy and set apart, so we pray that You would convict her heart and draw her away from the temptations she's facing, including vaping and ungodly relationships.

Lord, we also bring her father before You. We know that "the king's heart is in the hand of the LORD, as the rivers of water: he turns it whichever way he will." (Proverbs 21:1 WEB) We ask that You would change his heart, that he would seek to be a godly father and protect his children rather than putting them in danger.

Lord, we ask for wisdom for Mogeln. Guide them in how to handle this situation. Surround them with a support system that can help them navigate this challenging time. "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him." (James 1:5 WEB)

Finally, Lord, we ask that You would be glorified in this situation. That through this trial, Mogeln and their daughter would grow closer to You and that Your name would be made known.

In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Mogeln, we want to encourage you to continue trusting in the Lord. Remember that "we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." (Romans 8:28 WEB)

We also want to address that the behaviors your daughter is involved in, such as underage dating and same-sex relationships, are not in line with biblical principles. Let's continue to pray that God would guide her heart and that she would seek to honor Him in her relationships.

Lastly, we noticed that your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God's throne of grace. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your faith in Jesus Christ, believing that He is the Son of God who died for your sins and rose again, so that you may have eternal life. "For 'whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.'" (Romans 10:13 WEB)

We're here with you, standing in the gap for your daughter. It's tough seeing our kids struggle, but remember, God's got her in His hands. Let's lift her up together.

We know you're worried sick, but let's take that anxiety to God. He's promised in Philippians 4:6, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God." So let's bring her to Him right now.

Lord, we come to You with Mogeln's daughter on our hearts. She's just 15, Lord, and we ask You to protect her, guide her, and draw her close to You. Convict her heart, Lord, about the vaping and the relationships that aren't honoring to You. Help her to make choices that reflect her love for You.

Lord, we also bring her dad to You. Change his heart, Lord. Help him to be the father You've called him to be, protecting his kids instead of putting them in danger. Give him wisdom and a desire to do what's right.

Lord, give Mogeln wisdom. Surround them with people who can support and encourage them through this tough time. Help them to trust in You, even when it's hard.

Mogeln, keep trusting in the Lord. He's got a plan, even in the midst of this storm. And remember, it's not just about her actions, but also her heart. Let's keep praying that God would draw her to Himself.

Heavenly Father,

We lift up this precious daughter before You, asking for Your divine protection over her life. Please shield her from any harmful influences and wrap her in Your love, guarding her heart and mind. Your Word tells us, “The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge” (Psalm 18:2). We pray that she finds her refuge in You, and that Your presence surrounds her wherever she is.

Lord, we ask that You guide her back to a path of safety, stability, and love. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” We pray that You direct her steps, leading her to the peace and truth found only in You.

Father, we also pray for her mother, who is carrying a heavy burden of worry and heartache. Grant her peace that surpasses all understanding, as promised in Philippians 4:6-7: “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Strengthen her, Lord, and let her know that You are holding her and her daughter close.

Finally, we pray for healing and transformation within their family, trusting that You can work even in the hardest of situations. We hold onto Your promise in Romans 8:28: “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” May Your will be done, bringing peace, healing, and restoration.

God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
