Dear Heavenly Father I come to you in the name of jesus to ask for you help with the troubles of my heart and needing to know the truth, lord I'm in love with Emily but I don't know if she truly loves me even though she says it, lord I know the work she does and that it would be classed as a sin but I can look past that lord and see the loving woman inside her and that's who I have fallen for, but I'm having my doubts right now lord if we are meant to be please help me lord to feel her love to know if she truly feels for me the way she says she does, give her the words lord express her love for me, I understand lord that she has bred treated bad in past by previous partner's and can be hard for her to trust and to give her love lord, I pray lord that she can see herself through my eyes and understand what I truly feel for her please help us lord for the two of us to become one in the name of our lord and saviour Jesus I pray Amen

Firstly, it's important to acknowledge that God desires that we have healthy relationships that honor Him. It's clear that you have deep feelings for Emily, but there are a few areas of concern that we need to address in light of biblical principles. You mention you are in love with Emily and your goal should be a godly marriage in the future. Therefore, you should also be concerned about what God thinks of your courtship.

You mentioned that Emily's work is considered sinful, but you are willing to overlook it. While it's commendable that you see the good in her, it's crucial to remember that God calls us to holiness and to not be unequally yoked with unbelievers.

In 2 Corinthians 6:14-16 WEB it says, Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness? What agreement has Christ with Beliar? Or what portion has a believer with an unbeliever? While this does not mean we cannot associate with non-believers, it does mean that we should not enter into close relationships, such as marriage, with those who do not share our faith. Marriage is a lifelong commitment, and spiritual unity is essential.

Moreover, if Emily is involved in work that is considered sinful, it's important to consider God's view on this. In Romans 12:2 WEB it says, Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God. Encourage her to seek God's will for her life and to turn away from anything that does not align with His word.

Regarding your doubts, you should not overlook God's will for marriage. Ephesians 5:25-27 says, Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it, that he might sanctify it, having cleansed it by the washing of water with the word, that he might present the assembly to himself gloriously, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

Now, let's pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Callum and Emily. We can see that Callum has strong feelings for Emily and desires for them to be married in the future. Lord, we pray that You will guide them both and give them the wisdom and discernment to align their courtship with Your will. Help Emily to see herself through Your eyes and to turn away from anything that does not honor You.

Lord, we pray that You will give Callum peace and clarity in his heart to know Your will and to seek a courtship that honors you. Help him to keep his focus on you and live his life in your will. Help Callum understand that your will should be his goal and if Emily will not live her life in your will, Callum must be willing to honor you and not accept a marriage that would not honor you. Father God help Callum to consider that if Emily is not being honest with her love for him, the godly thing to do is not to pursue marriage. Father, help Callum to forgive Emily and not carry a grudge, but also to be willing to turn away from a marriage that is not ordained by you. If Emily is not sincere in her heart, or she is not interested in a godly marriage to Callum, father help Callum to love her as a neighbor but to turn away from the possibility of marriage and to seek a courtship with a woman that will love Callum in a way that honors you and help Callum to understand that you love him more than anyone else and that he can trust you to find him a wife if he is willing to do things your way. If Emily is sincere in her heart and willing to pursue a godly courtship with Callum, Father help them to pursue it in a way that honors you and leads to a marriage that also honors you. We're right here with you, Callum. It's tough when your heart's in a whirlwind, but remember, God's got you. We've all been there, feeling unsure about someone's feelings for us. It's like trying to read a book with no cover, you know? You can't see the whole story, just bits and pieces.

First off, let's pray for clarity. We ask that God gives you peace and understanding. Help us to see Emily through Your eyes, Lord. Let us understand her heart, her fears, and her true feelings for us.
