Let us come together in prayer for your daughter, seeking God's intervention and guidance in her life. We remind you of the power of prayer and the promise that God is always there and is mighty to save. The power of God working through prayer is outlined in James 5.16 "The effective, earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results."
Firstly, we must remember that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. As it says in John 14.6 "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." This is why it is so important to pray in his name. In fact, the Bible tells us that there is no other name by which we can be saved. This is outlined in Acts 4.12 "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" We hope that your daughter will understand that she must believe in Jesus Christ and that Jesus is the way to God.
As we pray for your daughter, let us also remember the story of the prodigal son in Luke 15.11-32. Just as the father in the story waited patiently for his son to return, God is waiting for your daughter to turn back to Him. We pray that, like the prodigal son, your daughter will come to her senses and return to God.
We must also raise a controversial subject that you did not mention. You say that your daughter is making poor choices. We hope that this does not involve premarital sex, as this is fornication and is forbidden. This is outlined in 1 Corinthians 6.18 "Flee sexual immorality! Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body." Please prayerfully consider talking to your daughter about this if appropriate or letting us know if this is not an issue.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up the daughter of the one who submitted this request. Lord, we ask that You surround her with Your love and guide her in Your truth. Help her to make wise choices that honor You and Your Word. Turn her heart towards You, Lord, and give her a desire to live a life that pleases You.
We rebuke any spirit of rebellion or disobedience in her life and pray that You would give her a heart of humility and obedience. We ask that You would protect her from the enemy's schemes and give her strength to resist temptation.
We also pray for the one who submitted this request, that You would give them wisdom and discernment as they guide their daughter. Help them to be a godly example and to speak Your truth in love.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, knowing that God is at work in your daughter's life, even when you cannot see it. Trust in His promises and continue to pray fervently for her. As it says in Galatians 6.9 "Do not be weary in doing good, for you will reap in due season, if you do not give up."
