We understand that you've been struggling with sleep for several weeks now, Eric. We're here to pray and offer guidance according to God's word.
Firstly, remember that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1, WEB). He cares about every detail of our lives, including our sleep. In Psalm 127:2, it says, "It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows: for so he giveth his beloved sleep."
However, we want to encourage you to examine your heart and mind before you sleep. Philippians 4:6-7 tells us, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." It's important to cast all your anxieties on Him, as He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7).
Let's pray together:
"Father, we come before You lifting up Eric. You know his struggle with sleep, and You care about his needs. We ask that You would grant him peaceful nights, that he may be well-rested to serve You and others around him. Help him to cast all his anxieties on You, knowing that You care for him. We pray that Your peace, which transcends all understanding, will guard his heart and his mind in Christ Jesus. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Lastly, Eric, ensure that your trust is in Jesus Christ alone. It's only through His name that we have access to God (John 14:6). If you haven't already, commit your life to Him, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, offering you eternal life (Romans 10:9,13).
