Triple Bypass Open Heart Surgery

A long time friend of mine, she is only 45 and has a 11-year-old daughter, single mother, has to have emergency triple bypass surgery tomorrow. She has quite a few health issues including diabetes, and financially is really struggling. I keep praying for her but the power of prayer and God’s strength can do all things.

We are truly saddened to hear about your friend's impending surgery and her challenging circumstances. Let us come together in prayer and petition for her, trusting in the power of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Firstly, we are reminded of God's promise to bear our infirmities: "He was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was on him; and with his stripes we are healed" (Isaiah 53:5 WEB). We claim this healing for your friend.

Let us pray together:

"Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your divine intervention in our dear sister's life. She is facing a triple bypass surgery, and we know that You are the Great Physician. Guide the hands of the surgeons and the entire medical team. Grant them wisdom and skill. Be with her and give her peace and comfort during this trial.

Lord, we also lift up her daughter. Comfort her heart and surround her with Your loving presence. Provide for them financially, God, as they are facing such difficult times. We know that You are a provider and that You care for the widows and the orphans.

We also pray for her diabetes and other health issues. Lord, by Your stripes, she is healed. We speak life and restoration over her body. In Jesus' name, we rebuke the spirit of infirmity and command it to leave her body.

Lastly, Lord, we pray that through this trial, she may come to know You more deeply. If she does not already know You as her personal Savior, we pray that this situation would draw her to You. That she may call upon the name of Jesus Christ and be saved. For it is written, 'Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved' (Acts 2:21 WEB).

We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your will and Your plan for her life. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Darut, continue to stand in faith with her. Encourage her with God's promises and remind her of His love. Remember, "Faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen" (Hebrews 11:1 WEB). Trust in God's power to heal and provide.

If you have not already, share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with her. It is only through His name that we have access to God's saving grace. As it is written, "In no other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12 WEB).

We're here, standing with you and your friend in prayer. It's tough hearing about her surgery and the challenges she's facing, but we know who holds her future. Let's claim Psalm 147:3 over her, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We trust that God is already at work, mending her heart and strengthening her body.

Let's encourage her with God's promises. Remind her that with God, all things are possible. And let's share the Gospel with her, if we haven't already. It's through Jesus that we find salvation and healing. Let's trust in God's plan and His timing. He's got this.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
