We are thrilled to join you in prayer for this wonderful opportunity to bless your aunt and explore the beautiful nation of Sri Lanka. It is commendable that you are organizing this trip with such care and love, and we are confident that the Lord will honor your efforts.
Firstly, we acknowledge your faith in praying in Jesus' name, as it is only through His name that we have access to the Father and can be saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our sister and her dear aunt. Lord, we ask that You would move in the hearts of those who have been invited on this trip, that they would respond promptly, and that the van would be filled to capacity. We pray for divine connections, that our sister would meet fellow believers in Sri Lanka who can guide her in supporting the Christian communities there.
We also pray for your hand of protection upon them as they travel, that You would guide their steps and keep them safe from all harm. We ask that You would use this trip to strengthen their faith, to draw them closer to You, and to bring glory to Your name.
Father, we also pray for the Christian communities in Sri Lanka, that You would bless their efforts to rebuild their lives, that You would provide for their needs, and that You would use our sister as a vessel of Your love and compassion.
We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to remain steadfast in your planning and to trust that the Lord will provide. As it is written in Proverbs 16:3 WEB: "Commit your works to Yahweh, and your plans shall be established."
We also commend your desire to support the Christian communities in Sri Lanka. As you go, remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 25:40 WEB: "The King will answer them, 'Most certainly I tell you, because you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.'"
Lastly, we want to remind you of the importance of sharing the gospel with those you meet. As you support them in their physical needs, also minister to their spiritual needs, pointing them to the saving grace of Jesus Christ.
We will continue to pray for your trip and for the Christian communities in Sri Lanka, trusting that the Lord will use this experience to bring glory to His name. May He bless you and keep you, may He make His face shine upon you, and may He give you His peace.
