We understand that you're going through a tremendous amount of stress and difficulty, especially with the prospect of losing your housing. Firstly, we want to assure you that you've done the right thing by calling on the name of Jesus Christ. It is only in His name that we have access to God the Father, and it is only by believing in Jesus' death and resurrection that we can be saved. There is no other name that can save us. IJN is how we should pray as Jesus is the one mediator between God and men.
We want to remind you that God is always with you, even in the darkest times. As it says in Deuteronomy 31:6 WEB, "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for Yahweh your God goes with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you." Even when it feels like all is lost, God is there, walking beside you.
In regards to your housing situation, we want to encourage you to trust in God's provision. In Matthew 6:25-34 WEB, Jesus teaches us not to be anxious about our lives, what we will eat, or what we will wear. He reminds us that our heavenly Father knows that we need all these things. Instead, we should seek first God's Kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to us. This doesn't mean that we shouldn't act, but that we should trust in God as we do all we can.
It's also important to remember that God's timing is not ours. While it may seem like evil is prospering, God sees the whole picture. As it says in Psalm 37:1-2 WEB, "Do not fret because of evildoers, neither be envious against those who work unrighteousness. For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb."
Now, we pray for you.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is in desperate need. Lord, You know the struggles they're facing, the fear of losing their housing, the feelings of overwhelm and abandonment. We ask, Father, that You would intervene in this situation. Provide for their needs, Lord, as only You can. Guide them to the right resources, the right people, the right solutions. Give them the strength and courage to keep pushing through, even when the trials seem too great. Turn their situation around, Lord, and show them Your faithfulness.
We also pray for their relatives, Lord. Soften their hearts and help them to see the need and pain of their loved one. We rebuke the spirit of abandonment and isolation, and we ask You to surround our brother/sister with a community of believers who will support and encourage them in this time.
In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we encourage you to keep crying out to God, to keep praying and seeking His face. He hears you, and He will answer. As it says in Matthew 7:7-8 WEB, "Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you. For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened." Keep asking, keep seeking, keep knocking. God will make a way.
