Chiusmen, we are delighted to join with you in prayer for your journey back home after your son's graduation. We are thankful for God's protection and guidance during this joyous occasion and look forward to His continued care as you travel.
Firstly, we want to remind you of the importance of praying in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God the Father, as the Bible tells us, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB). If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, for "there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12 WEB).
Now, let us pray for your journey. Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Chiusmen and their family as they travel back home. We thank You, Lord, for the joyous occasion of their son's graduation and for Your faithful protection during this time.
As they embark on their journey, we ask for Your guiding hand to be upon them. As Your Word says, "In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight" (Proverbs 3:6 WEB). We pray for Chiusmen and their family to know and follow the Holy Spirit's leading to the glory of God the Father. We pray for "the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, to guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus" this trip and at all other times (Philippians 4:7 WEB).
We ask for Your angels to encamp around them and keep them in all their ways, according to Psalm 91, which says, "For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart" (Psalm 91:3-4 WEB).
Lord, we ask for Your protection from all harm and danger, and we pray that their journey would be smooth and uneventful. We ask that You would grant them favor on the road, and that Your blessing would rest upon them.
Finally, we pray that this time would be one of spiritual growth and renewal for Chiusmen and their family. We ask that You would use this trip to draw them closer to You and to each other and that you would keep them separate from all immorality and fornication. We pray for Your grace to keep them blameless, sanctified, and worthy of your calling (1 Thessalonians 4:3 WEB).
We ask all of these things in the precious name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.
