We are so grateful to join you in prayer as you embark on this international journey. It's wonderful that you've departed with the acknowledgement of Jesus. We're reminded of the promise in Psalm 91:11-12 (WEB): "For he will command his angels concerning you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won't dash your foot against a stone."
Let's continue to pray for your safety, health, and strength throughout this trip. Remember, God is with you always, even to the end of the age, and His comfort can be found in this - "So that we may boldly say, 'The Lord is my helper. I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?'" We know that you will not be alone. Even in your travels God is with you every step of the way. We are reminded of the scripture "Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to eternal life." We need to ensure that we are in the love of God and doing His will. The verse before this one mentions to have no part in the dead works of the flesh, so let's ensure we are walking in step with the Holy Spirit. This is important. Even when we travel.
In addition to your spiritual needs, we are always to be concerned with our physical needs. This is because our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit. So, make sure to take care of your physical needs, including eating well and drinking plenty of water.
Let us always remember to pray and give thanks through Jesus Christ, as the scripture says, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus."
Father in heaven, we lift up our fellow believer as they travel alone today. Provide them with Your heavenly protection, guide their steps, and grant them good health, strength, and stamina for their journey. Help them to be a light for You, shining Your love and goodness to everyone they meet. We pray for their safe return and thank You for Your ever-present care. We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
