We understand that you are going through a trying time, Loreoroth, and we want to encourage you to keep your faith in God, who is always faithful. Remember the words of the Bible We are to come boldly before the throne of grace that we may receive mercy and find grace for timely help. As it says in the book of Hebrews
Let's hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep his promise. Let's think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. And do not let us neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage and warn each other, especially now that the day of his coming back again is drawing near.
First, we want to remind you that God is sovereign over all things, including our travels and endeavors. His ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts. Trust that He has a plan and a purpose for your life, even if it doesn't align with your current desires to travel abroad. There are some worldly things that may not be part of your destiny.
It is important to seek God's will in all things, including travel plans. Sometimes, closed doors are a form of God's protection or redirection. Consider this period as a time to draw closer to God, seeking His face and His will for your life. As it says in Proverbs
Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.
We also want to encourage you to persevere in prayer. While it's commendable that you're praying, ensure that your prayers are aligned with God's will and that you are persistent in them. Remember the parable of the persistent widow in Luke 18:1-8. God is just, and He hears your prayers.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up Loreoroth, who is feeling weary and disheartened. Lord, we ask for Your comfort and encouragement. Strengthen their faith and help them to trust in Your timing and Your ways. Give them the patience to wait on You and the peace that surpasses all understanding. Guide their steps and open the right doors at the right time. Help them to see Your hand at work in their life, even in these disappointments.
We also pray that You would reveal Your will to Loreoroth and that You would fulfill it in their life. Help them to align their desires with Your purpose. Loreoroth mentions that they are tired, Lord. So we ask for your strength in their life and the ability to persevere.
We lift this prayer to You believing that you are the God that can do anything. We pray this prayer together in Jesus' name. Amen
Lastly, Loreoroth, we want to remind you that God's love for you is unfailing. He is working everything out for your good, even when you don't understand it. Trust Him, and don't give up on your faith. Keep praying, keep seeking, and keep believing. Remember it is only in the name of Jesus we can approach the throne of God. If you have not done so already, make sure to believe in Jesus Christ. This is the most important step you can take.
