We are glad to join you in prayer for traveling mercies as you drive to pick up your child from college on Saturday. We are grateful that you have acknowledged the power in the name of Jesus, as it is written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the precious name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your protection and guidance for our fellow believer as they travel to pick up their child from college. We pray for angels to be dispatched to surround their vehicle and to guide them on their journey.
Lord, we know that Your Word tells us in Psalm 91:11, "For he will command his angels concerning you, to guard you in all your ways." So, we ask that You command Your angels to go with them, providing a hedge of protection around them and their vehicle. Keep them safe from all harm and danger, and bring them to their destination and back again safely.
Proverbs 3:23-24 promises, "Then you shall walk in your way securely. Your foot won't stumble. When you lie down, you will not be afraid. Yes, you will lie down, and your sleep will be sweet."
Lord, let Psalm 46:5 ring true in their heart, "God is in the midst of her. She shall not be moved. God will help her at dawn."
Lord, let them be confident in You and Your protection and know that You are their refuge and strength.
We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for the peace that comes from knowing that You are always with us. We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to remain in prayer continually, as it is written in 1 Thessalonians 5:17, "Pray without ceasing." Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight, Proverbs 3:5-6.
May God bless you and your family, and may His loving presence be with you as you travel.
