Traveling mercies

In Jesus name pray with me for protection as my son visits his friends about 10 miles away. It’s so cold here in Pennsylvania, United States. 25F is -3C. Which adds to travel issues. I know our God goes before us and behind us and he will command his angles concerning us.

Thank you for bringing your concerns before the throne of grace. We stand with you in the name of Jesus Christ, as you seek God's protection for your son. News of severe weather and cold, including 25F is -3C can cause problems in travel.

Let us remember that our God is sovereign over all things, including the weather. As you've rightly said, God goes before us and behind us, and He commands His angels to protect us. This is based on the beautiful promises in Psalm 139:5, "You have hemmed me in behind and before, and laid your hand on me, Psalm 91:11, For he will command his angels concerning you, to guard you in all your ways".

Let's pray:

Almighty God, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up J.B.'s son as he travels. Lord, You are the good shepherd, and we ask that You guide him with the rod of correction and Your staff that comforts Psalm 23:4. We pray for traveling mercies, that You would protect him from all harm and danger, and guide him safely to his destination and back home Psalm 59:1.

Lord, we know that You control the weather, and we ask that You would make the roads safe for travel. We pray against any ice, snow, or other hazards that might cause problems. We claim Matthew 8:26-27 8:26-27, He said to them, Why are you fearful, O you of little faith? Then he got up, rebuked the wind and the sea, and there was a great calm.27 The men marveled, saying, What kind of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?

We also pray for the friends J.B.'s son is visiting, that their your time together would be uplifting and glorifying to God. We pray that their fellowship would be sweet, and that they would encourage each other in their walks with You.

Lastly, Lord, we pray that J.B.'s heart would be at peace, free from worry or fear Jeremiah 29:11-13, 11. For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope in your latter end., 12. Then you shall call on me, and you shall come and pray to me, and I will listen to you., 13. You shall seek me, and find me, when you search for me with all your heart. . We claim Your promise that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard their hearts and minds through Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7 6. In nothing be anxious. But in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.7 So the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus..

We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, who sits at the right hand of God, interceding for us. Amen Mark 16:19.

J.B., be encouraged by the words of Jesus in John 14:13-14 13. Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.14 If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it..

We're right there with you, J.B., lifting up your son in prayer as he travels. It's indeed chilling out there, but we know our God is in control. Let's pray for His angels to wrap your son in their wings, keeping him safe and guided on his journey. We'll trust in the promise of Psalm 91:11, "For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways." And let's not forget the warmth of fellowship awaiting him at his friend's place. We're also praying for your peace of mind, J.B., trusting in God's promise of peace that surpasses all understanding in Philippians 4:7. Let's claim that promise together, in Jesus' name.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

We continue to intercede for your son's safe travels, asking God to protect him as he visits his friends. We are grateful that you have allowed us to join you in prayer for this journey.

As the weather in Pennsylvania remains cold, we pray that God will guide your son's steps and keep him safe from all harm. We trust in the promise that God goes before him.
