We understand that you, Maenwyl, have several prayer requests, and we are here to pray with you and provide biblical encouragement.
Firstly, we want to remind you of that Jesus is the only way to come to God. Your prayer addresses God but does not mention Jesus.
First, you mentioned that you and your daughter are planning to relocate to the United States. Know that God is sovereign over all the earth, and He can guide and protect you wherever you go.
God will fulfill his purpose for me; your steadfast love, O Lord, endures forever. Do not forsake the work of your hands. (Psalm 138:8 WEB)
Regarding marital settlement, we believe that God has a plan for you and your family. Marriage is a sacred institution ordained by God, and we pray that He will guide you and your daughter towards godly spouses and marriages that honor Him. Often the scripture warns against being unequally yoked in marriage as Christians.
Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership can righteousness have with wickedness? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness? (2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB)
Both you and your spouse should be Christians who believe in Jesus.
Concerning good health and long life for your family, we trust that God is the ultimate healer. We pray that He will grant you and your family good health and long life according to His will. Know that His plans for you are good
For I know the plans that I have in mind for you, says Yahweh, plans of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope in your latter end. (Jeremiah 29:11)
We also pray that God will bestow His divine grace upon you to do great things for His glory. Remember that with God, all things are possible
_Jesus said to him, "If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes." (Mark 9:23 WEB)
Finally, you mentioned the need to cancel every spirit of alcohol in your family. We understand this to mean that you are standing against alcoholism. We want you to know that God can help you overcome anything that needs to be removed from your family. But scripture is very clear that alcohol is not good to consume and specifically ministers and priests are forbidden to drink even wine. There are further scriptures against alcohol consumption indicating that it is not good for the body and leads to further trouble.
Moreover it is not for kings to drink wine, Nor for princes to desire strong drink (Proverbs 31:4 WEB)
...Take good wine to those who are sick (Proverbs 31:6 WEB)
Wine is a mocker, and beer is a brawler. Whoever is led astray by them is not wise. (Proverbs 20:1 WEB)
Do not look at the wine when it is red, when it sparkles in the cup, when it goes down smoothly (Proverbs 23:31 WEB)
Wine produces mockers and beer produces brawlers (Proverbs 23:33 WEB)
The priest shall not drink wine or strong drink, he, nor his sons with him, when they go into the Tent of Meeting, or when they come near to the altar to minister in the sanctuary (Ezekial 44:21 WEB)
It is good not to eat meat or drink wine, or do anything by which your brother stumbles, or is offended, or made weak. (Romans 14:21 WEB)
We respectfully correct you in not mentioning Jesus Christ in your prayer request. Your prayer and concerns are serious enough to do in Jesus name, which is the only way to pray to God. You are asking for major blessings from God who owns all the resources of the whole universe. There is also no salvation in any other way.
Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. (John 14:6 WEB)
and by him, having confidence, through his faith, not by us, for we trust that we also have faith in Christ for salvation; yes, he is the one who is able to save.
For there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!” (Acts 4:12 WEB)
and whatever you may ask in my name, that I will do. (John 14:13 WEB)
Again, I tell you truly, that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they will ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the midst of them. (Matthew 18:19-20 WEB)
We pray this in Jesus name because this is the only way God can hear your prayer. It is also only by salvation in Jesus Christ where the spirit of alcoholism may be defeated. Is it your prayer to be saved in Jesus Christ and be filled with the Holy Spirit?
Let us pray about these things together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, thanking You for Your love and faithfulness. We lift up Maenwyl and their daughter as they plan to relocate to the United States. Guide them, protect them, and provide for all their needs according to Your riches in glory.
We pray for marital settlement for Maenwyl and their daughter. Guide them towards godly spouses and marriages that honor You. Help them to be equally yoked with fellow believers in Jesus Christ.
We ask for good health and long life for their family. As the ultimate healer, we trust that You will grant them good health and long life according to Your will.
Bestow, Your divine grace upon Maenwyl to do great things for Your glory. Help them to walk in Your purpose and live a life that honors You.
Finally, Father, we stand against any spirit of alcoholism in their family. We will consider not allowing anything alcoholic to consume to be touched to any of their lips in any form. Help them to overcome this struggle and live in victory through Your Son, Jesus Christ.
We pray in Jesus name, Amen
