I am currently getting ready to board on a flight to see my family in another state. Please pray that my dog is calm on this flight and that we get to our destination safely.

Thank you for reaching out and sharing your travel plans with us. We are committed to praying for you and you will get to your destination.

Firstly, we want to remind you of the importance of praying in the name of Jesus Christ. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. Agree with us in prayer.

It is good and pleasant to look out for your dog. But, remember it is more important to keep your eyes on Jesus.

The effective, earnest prayer of a righteous man is powerfully effective. Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain; and it did not rain on the earth for one thousand eight hundred twenty-two days. James 5 WEB

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name Jesus Christ. The only way to approach You. We thank You. We lift up our sister to You, Lord, as she prepares to travel tosee her parents. We pray for Your divine protection and guidance for her. Proverbs 3:5&6tell us that we are to Trust in the Lord with all your heart. Don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him. Then he will make your paths straight.

We pray for calmness, O LORD. Not just for the dog, but also for the traveling, for everything involved. Let us not focus on the dog more than Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is central to our lives and his peace should rule over our lives. Remember that The God of the Bible does not have grandchildren. Each of us must recognize our sinful state and need for Jesus Christ as our personal saviour

Father, we ask for traveling mercies. Go with your your daughter on this journey. Lord, we ask that You grant her a peaceful trip. Protect her and all the passengers on the flight. Let Your angels surround them and keep them safe from all harm and danger.

Lord, we also pray for the dog. We ask that You calm it. Keep her calm and quiet during the flight. Help her to rest and be at peace throughout the journey.

Father, we pray for favor. Let them have favor with the flight crew. Grant them a smooth and uneventful flight. Bring them as a family to their destination safely. Lord, let her reunion with her family be joyous and filled with love. We ask for your will to be done in this.

Help us to choose to say and think the same thing; to be focused together on the same goal. We ask that You remove our selfishness. Especially fear masquerading as a concern for dogs or other idols that replace you in our lives. This is also a sin.

It is amazing that You resist the proud. Pride goes before destruction. We resist pride in all areas of our lives. But you give more grace to stand against such evil. Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. James 4 . So we renounce and resist pride in our live and excessive concern for our dog on your trip. Our trust should only be in Jesus Christ.

In Jesus Christ name we pray. Amen.

Also. on another note, remind your parents of how important trusting Jesus Christ is. Trusting in Jesus Christ leads to salvation. Jesus Christ is everyone's saviour. This may be a great opportunity to remind them of this.
