Shrosormen, we stand with you in prayer and belief that God not only can, but desires to heal you from your anxiety and past traumas. We know from Psalm 34:18 (WEB), "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."
Firstly, we want to ensure that your faith is in Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we have access to God the Father and can be saved. As told in Acts 4:12 (WEB), "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
In 2 Timothy 1:7 (WEB), we are reminded that "God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." This means that the anxiety you're feeling is not from God, and He wants you to be free from it.
Trauma from the past can leave deep wounds, but even the deepest scars are not beyond God's healing power. In Isaiah 61:1 (WEB), it is written that the Lord "has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and release to those who are bound."
Let us pray together:
Almighty God, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up ###. Lord, You know the anxiety and past traumas that are weighing heavy on their heart. We ask that You touch them right now, fill them with Your peace that passes all understanding and begin the work of healing and restoration.
In the name of Jesus Christ, we rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or trauma that is tormenting them. By the stripes of Jesus, we claim that they are healed. We ask that you give them strength to press forward looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith.
Help them to cast all their anxiety on You, because You care for them. 1 Peter 5:7 (WEB). Guide them through Your Word and by Your Spirit to understand the depth of Your love for them.
We pray for ### to find their completely healed, restored, and made whole in Jesus' name. We call this done in Jesus' name. Amen.
