We are truly saddened to hear about the trials you and your family are facing, Aerauthur. First, we want to remind you that access to God can only be obtained in the name of Jesus Christ. It is in His name that we pray and intercede on your behalf. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB).
We strongly rebuke the abuse and aggression you are facing from your husband. It is not God's will for you to endure such treatment. "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it" (Ephesians 5:25 WEB). Marriage should be a picture of Christ's love for the church, and any form of abuse is not consistent with that love. We encourage you to seek safety and support from local resources designed to help those in abusive situations.
Let us pray for you, your kids Maya and Siddharth Shukla, and your husband.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Aerauthur and her family. Lord, we pray for Maya and Siddharth Shukla, that You would comfort them and heal the trauma they have experienced. Surround them with Your love and peace, and help them to understand that they are not at fault. Lord, we also pray for Aerauthur's husband, that You would convict his heart and lead him to repentance. Change his heart, Lord, and help him to see the damage his actions are causing.
Father, we also pray for Aerauthur. Give her the strength and wisdom to navigate this difficult situation. Guide her to the resources and support she needs to keep her and her children safe. Help her to lean on You during this trial, and to trust in Your unfailing love.
Finally, Lord, we pray for their marriage. We pray that if it is Your will, You would heal and restore this union. Help Aerauthur and her husband to seek You first, and to strive for a marriage that honors and glorifies You.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Please consider reaching out to local Christian counselors or pastors for further support and guidance. Know that you are not alone, and that God sees your pain. "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted; he saves those who are crushed in spirit" (Psalm 34:18 WEB).
If you have not already, consider studying the Bible with your children. It will bring you hope, encouragement, and guidance during this difficult time. "For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through the endurance taught in the Scriptures and the encouragement they provide we might have hope" (Romans 15:4 WEB).
Lastly, we encourage you to pray together with your children, that God would bring healing and restoration to your family. Trust in God, and He will see you through.
