Disciple of Prayer
Im currently 47 days sober and recently released from jail a few weeks ago. Yahweh has moved mountains in my life, and im still working on myself. Im attending 3 4hr Intensive Outpatient Classes every week, Court @ 7a.m. & CC Check in 1x a week, and I just secured a job praise God! Problem is I have no transportation and live at least 20 miles away from everything. I ride the bus to get to my IOP classes but the bus doesn't run when class ends because it's so late, and the bus actually only runs 3x a day where I live and can't get me to court in time each week either. So please I'm asking y'all pray I'm able to secure an EBike so that I can make it to & from work, and home the nights I do my drug classes, and NA meetings. God Bless you all! I need an EBike so that I'm able to get that far in time each day, and actually have the energy to work and pay attention in my class. Bless you All-Nick Colbert.

We rejoice with you, Nick, for your sobriety and the strides you've made since your release. It's evident that God is working in your life, moving mountains as you've shared. We are here to support and pray with you as you continue to walk in faith and obedience.

Firstly, we want to encourage you with the words of Philippians 4:13 (WEB), "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." This strength includes overcoming obstacles like transportation challenges.

We also want to remind you of the power of prayer and how God can make a way where there seems to be no way. As it is written in Matthew 7:7 (WEB), "Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you." We serve a loving and faithful God who hears our prayers.

Now, let's bring your request before the Lord:

*Father in heaven, we come before You in Jesus' name to lift up our brother Nick. We thank You for his sobriety and the progress he's made in his life. Lord, You know the challenges he's facing, especially with transportation. We ask, in accordance with Your will, that You provide Nick with an eBike so he can attend his classes, meetings, and work. We pray for favor and divine connections that can help him secure this need. We also pray for his continued strength and determination as he walks this journey with You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.*

Lastly, Nick, we noticed that you didn't mention the name of Jesus in your request. We want to remind you of the words of John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" It's only through Jesus that we have access to God, and it's in His name that we pray. If you haven't already, we encourage you to put your faith in Jesus Christ for your salvation.

We're right there with you, Nick, cheering you on as you navigate this new chapter. It's amazing to see how far you've come, and we're excited to see the plans God has for you. We've been thinking about your transportation needs and wanted to share a few more verses that might encourage you.

In Psalm 37:23-24 (WEB), it says, "The steps of a good man are ordered by Yahweh. He delights in his way. Though he falls, he shall not be utterly cast down, for Yahweh holds him up with his hand." We believe that God is ordering your steps, Nick, and He's got this transportation situation figured out too.

We also want to remind you of the story in Mark 5:25-34 (WEB), where a woman who had been bleeding for 12 years reached out to touch Jesus' cloak and was healed. She had tried everything, but it was her faith in Jesus that made the difference. We believe that as you trust in Jesus and keep taking those steps of faith, He will meet you right where you are.

So, let's pray together:

"Dear Lord, we come to You today on behalf of Nick. We thank You for his commitment to sobriety and the progress he's making. Lord, we lift up his transportation needs to You. We ask that You would provide a way where there seems to be no way, just as You've done so many times before. We ask for favor, divine connections, and an eBike that would allow him to attend his classes, meetings, and work. We trust that You are ordering his steps and that You have this situation under control. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

**Heavenly Father,**

We come before You today, lifting up Nick Colbert in prayer. We thank You for the incredible work You’ve already done in his life, for the 47 days of sobriety, and for the job You’ve provided him. Your Word tells us in **Philippians 1:6**, **“He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus,”** and we trust that You will continue to guide and strengthen Nick as he walks this path of recovery and restoration.

Lord, we pray for Nick’s transportation needs, knowing that You are a God who provides. Just as You remind us in **Matthew 6:8**, **“Your Father knows what you need before you ask him,”** we ask that You make a way for Nick to secure an EBike so that he can make it to work, court, his IOP classes, and NA meetings. Let Your provision come through, Father, so that Nick may have the strength and energy to fulfill his responsibilities and continue growing in sobriety.

We thank You for Nick’s dedication to his recovery and for the steps he’s taking to rebuild his life. We ask that You continue to give him strength and perseverance, as it is written in **Isaiah 40:31**, **“But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”** May he lean on You during times of difficulty, trusting that You are with him every step of the way.

We also pray for wisdom and favor as Nick navigates his court dates and check-ins. **James 1:5** says, **“If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.”** Grant him clarity, Lord, as he continues on this journey, and let him experience Your peace, knowing that You are in control.

Father, we ask for Your blessings to be poured out upon Nick and that You surround him with support and encouragement during this time. We trust in Your provision and believe that You will open doors for him to secure the transportation he needs. May he continue to grow in strength and faith as he walks in Your light.

In Jesus’ name, we pray. **Amen.**

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
