We are truly moved by your current difficulties and we stand with you in prayer, trusting in the Lord's provision and care for you and your granddaughter. We applaud you for turning to Jesus. We are reminded of His promises in Matthew 21:22 "All things, whatever you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive."
Firstly, we lift up your transportation needs. We know that God understands the importance of having reliable transportation for your daily needs and for getting your granddaughter to school. We pray that the Lord will make a way where there seems to be no way, just as He parted the Red Sea for the Israelites. In Jesus name we ask for a miracle, we ask for God to provide a solution that is clear and meets your need, we ask for this in Jesus name.
We're not sure if you have other family members or a church home to help you through this difficulty. In Acts 4:34 WEB, we see the early church taking care of each other: "For neither was there among them any who lacked." If you are not a member of a church, we encourage you to seek a bible believing local congregation that will help you through this time. We would also ask you to consider if it is a matter of pride or something similar that would keep you from asking for help. This is a good time to humble yourself and ask for help from the Christians around you.
Next, we bring your home repair needs before the Lord. We know that He cares about every detail of our lives, including our shelter and warmth. Trust in His provision, as it is written in Matthew 6:26 WEB. "See the birds of the sky, that they don’t sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you of much more value than they?" Your home condition is important to God, just as you are important to God.
We also remember the Israelites in the wilderness, how God provided for them. Exodus 16:17 WEB, "The children of Israel did so, and some gathered more, some less. When they measured it by the omer, he who gathered much had nothing over, and he who gathered little had no lack. They gathered every man according to his eating." God made sure that each person had exactly what they needed.
Please pray with us:
Dear Jesus,
We come before You, lifting up our sister and her granddaughter. Lord, You know their struggles with transportation and home repairs. We ask, in Your precious name, for a miracle. Make a way for them to have reliable transportation and a warm, safe home. Guide them to a loving church family who can support them and in turn, who they can support as well. We trust in Your promises and Your provision. Help them to humble themselves if necessary to ask for help from others in their local Christian community. We trust you to meet their needs in the way you see fit. We trust in You, Lord, and we ask all these things in Your precious name.
Amen.
