We are so glad you have brought this concern to us, and we stand with you in praying for your husband's salvation. It is wonderful that you are married and seeking God's will for your husband. The Bible tells us that God desires for everyone to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus (1 Timothy 2:3-5 WEB). There are many examples of husbands and wives who were unequally yoked that God transformed and saved the unbelieving spouse.
As you pray for your husband, remember the power of love and a godly example.
Wives, in the same way, be in subjection to your own husbands; so that, even if any do not obey the Word, they may be won by the behavior of their wives without a word; seeing your pure behavior in fear. Let the hidden person of the heart be revealed in the incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God very precious. (1 Peter 3:1-4 WEB)
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this beloved husband. Lord, You know his heart and You desire for him to be saved. We pray that You soften his heart and open his eyes to the truth of the Gospel. We ask that You use his wife as a beacon of Your love and grace, drawing him to You. We pray that he would accept Jesus Christ as his Lord. We pray that you would give his wife the continuing strength to love him unconditionally while living out her faith. Help her show him the love of Christ and the transforming power of the Holy Spirit. We believe that You are able to save his soul. We pray that you give her wisdom and guidance to speak the word of God to him and lead him to your Word.
Lord, we also pray for their marriage, that it would be strengthened and blessed as they both draw closer to You. Surround them with Your love, and guide them in Your truth and bless them with Godly children. Transform their marriage and family for Your glory. In Jesus Name.
Remember, it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Only by believing in Jesus Christ will anyone be saved. That if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation. For the Scripture says, Whoever believes in him will not be disappointed. (Romans 10:9-11 WEB)
Be encouraged, for God is at work in your husband's life. Trust in the Lord's timing and rest in His promises. We are here for you, praying and believing with you and your husband.
