We understand that you're feeling overwhelmed and disheartened, but we want to encourage you not to give up. Remember the words of Galatians 6:9, "Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap at the proper time, if we don't give up."
In times like these, it's crucial to remember that our faith is not just for our own benefit, but also to be a testimony to others. Matthew 5:16 tells us, "Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven." Giving up our faith would not only be a personal loss but also a victory for those who may be opposing the work of God in our lives.
It's important to acknowledge any family dynamics that may be contributing to your feelings. The Bible tells us we should honor our parents, but ultimately our dedication is to God.
It is by faith in Jesus Christ that we have access to God, and it is only by His name that we can be saved. We see this mentioned in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father in Jesus name,
We lift up our brother/sister who is feeling weary and overwhelmed. We pray that You would strengthen their faith and help them to fix their eyes on You, the author and perfecter of our faith. Give them the endurance to run the race that is set before them, and remind them of the eternal reward that awaits those who do not give up.
We pray for your love, joy, and peace to fill their hearts. Thank you that they have called out to you in the name of Jesus.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Remember, even when it's difficult, God is with you and will give you the strength to endure. Stand firm in your faith, and trust that God has a purpose and a plan for you. Don't let the enemy use your family or circumstances to cause you to doubt your faith.
Furthermore, the family that someone grew up in is not as important as the family of God that someone is growing up in Christianly maturity. This is our focus. This is our family. This is our inheritance.
