We are grateful to join you in prayer, ###, as you seek to achieve your goals overseas and improve your physical health. We will pray for your well-being in Jesus' name. The Apostle Paul reminds us that "bodily exercise profits something; but godliness is profitable for all things, having promise of the life now, and of that which is to come," This is from 1 Timothy 4:8 WEB. While physical fitness is important, it is even more important to remain spiritually fit and grow in our relationship with Jesus Christ.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, lifting up ###. We ask that You grant them the strength, discipline, and focus needed to complete their goals overseas and improve their physical health. Help them to remain consistent as they lose the desired weight and improve their fitness, as they set before you the following goals:
Body weight: Lose the unhealthy weight
- Increase fitness and flexibility
- Bench press: ###kg x ### reps
- Push press: ###kg x ### reps
- Leg press: ###kg x ### rep
- Farmers walk: ###kg - ###m
- Deadlift: ###kg x ### reps
We acknowledge that it is in your power to achieve these goals and that you have a plan for health and wholeness. We have this promise that, for God, all things are possible to those who love and serve our Lord Jesus Christ as confirmed in Mathew 19:26 WEB.
While they strive to achieve these goals, we ask that you strengthen their character by developing spiritual fruit such as self-control, perseverance, and diligence. It is in your will that they should know the love of the Father, the fellowship of the Holy Ghost, and the power that can only come by Jesus Christ. There is no other power to heal them or save them from their sins by which they can inherit eternal life. Calibrate their goals to align with the ongoing goal of becoming more like Christ. We ask for endurance and focus for these challenging goals. We have set before you the goals you desire we ask in His name complete your goals. Let Your will be done in their life as they submit to the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Thank you Lord, for as 2 Corinthians 12:9 WEB says, Your grace is sufficient for us, and Your power is also perfected in weakness. Thus we need not rely on our own strength.
Remember, ###, that our bodies are a temple of the Holy Spirit, and we are to honor God with our bodies, as stated in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 WEB. As you pursue your fitness goals, let this truth resonate in your spirit and guide your actions, knowing that you are properly aligning your will with the will of our Lord Jesus Christ.
We encourage you to keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising its shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. For as Hebrews 12:1-2 WEB reminds us, consider Him who has endured such hostility of sinners against Himself, so that you may never grow weary or lose heart.
Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.
Know that God sees you. Believe that God loves you. Trust that God will carry you through.
“And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren” Romans 8:28, 29.
Words of Wisdom: Look at everything you go through (good or bad) as a lesson to be learned. Always seek God on what He wants you to learn. Then—Relax—Focus—Learn From It—Grow From It—Thank God For It. Don’t waste the experience. Because everything God allows in your life is to conform you into the image of His Son, Jesus Christ. You are to become better, wiser, and stronger, and not bitter, ignorant, or weaker to what life brings you. Life can be hard, but God companions fail not His mercies are renewed every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23).
