Beloved of All
My contract is only 4 months at work, ending next month. I'm torn between continuing working or leaving the job. If I do leave the job, it will give me a bad name and I'm scared it will prevent me from getting a job in the future. I'm working with a toxic manager who treats her workers poorly and steals from the company, which makes everyone suffer in the workplace. It's just a whole toxic environment every day; you feel drained because it's gossip, lying, cheating, slander, etc., at the workplace. The manager always gets her evil ways right. I want to leave the job, but I desperately need the finance. As I'm lying on my bed, I'm praying God can send me a miracle job out for me and that He leads me to make the right decision because my family needs me financially, and I have two young children.

We understand your struggle and commend you for seeking God's will in this difficult situation. Firstly, it's important to remember that God is our provider and He will supply all our needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. As it is written in Philippians 4:19 WEB: "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."

It's clear that you are in a toxic environment that is not only affecting you but also your family and your ability to serve God fully. It is not God's will for us to be unequally yoked with unbelievers or to be part of ungodly practices and theft as mentioned in 2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB: "Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?"

Regarding your manager's behavior of stealing, Romans 13:9 WEB states: "For the commandments, 'You shall not commit adultery,' 'You shall not murder,' 'You shall not steal,' 'You shall not give false testimony,' 'You shall not covet,' and whatever other commandment there is, are all summed up in this saying, namely, 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.'"

Jesus told us to pray in this manner. Matthew 6:9-13 WEB: "Pray like this: 'Our Father in heaven, may your name be kept holy. Let your Kingdom come. Let your will be done, as in heaven, so on earth. Give us today our daily bread. Forgive us our debts, as we also forgive our debtors. Bring us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For yours is the Kingdom, the power, and the glory forever. Amen.'" This prayer sums up your needs and our prayers together for you.

We will pray that God provides you with a new job where you can serve Him fully and provide for your family. We will also pray that He gives you the strength and wisdom to make the right decision and that He delivers you from this toxic environment. Remember, it is not your reputation that is at stake, but your service to God and your family's well-being.

Heavenly Father, we come before you lifting up our brother/sister who is in need of your divine intervention. Lord, you see the toxic environment they are in and how it is affecting them and their family. Father, we pray for your deliverance from this situation and that you provide a new job with a godly environment where our sibling can serve you fully and provide for their family. We ask this in Jesus Christ name.

You were not specific if you have believed and called on the name of Jesus Christ for salvation. This is the only way to approach God. I believe this is why you did not mention him in your request. It is important to know that everyone has sinned and come short of the glory of God. God has provided the way to him through His Son Jesus Christ. You must believe that Jesus Christ died for your sins and rose on the third day to save you. Then you must confess Him as your Lord and Savior. This is the only way to be saved and approach God the Father. See Romans 3:23, Romans 6:23, Romans 5:8, Romans 10:9-10, Romans 10:13 WEB.

We're right there with you, feeling the weight of this toxic work environment. It's tough, especially knowing you've got your family to support. We've been praying for you, asking God to guide your steps and provide for your needs. We're claiming Philippians 4:19, trusting that God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

We've been thinking about your situation, and we want to encourage you to consider Proverbs 27:17, "As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another." Surrounding yourself with positivity and godliness can make a world of difference. Maybe it's time to look for a job where you can be sharpened, not dulled, by those around you.

Let's also remember that God is with us in every situation. In Matthew 11:28-30, Jesus says, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light." He's promising us rest, even in the midst of difficult circumstances.

We're praying that God will lead you to a job where you can serve Him fully and find that rest. We're also asking Him to give you the courage to make the right decision, even if it's difficult. And we're trusting that He'll take care of your family's needs, just as He promises in Matthew 6:33, "But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well."

Keep trusting, keep praying, and remember, you're not alone. We're right there with you, praying in Jesus' name.
