Thank you, Anonymous, for reaching out and sharing your prayer request for your mother and others. We are here to stand with you in prayer and to provide biblical encouragement.
Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging the power of Jesus' name in your request. It is only by His name that we have access to God and it is by believing in Jesus that we are saved. We are reminded of this truth in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
Let us pray together for your mother:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up the mother of Anonymous. We pray that You will grant her peace, wisdom, understanding, strength, and good health. We rebuke any evil plans against her life, and we ask that You will destroy them, Lord. Surround her with Your favor as a shield, and give her the wisdom to make godly decisions. We believe in Your deliverance and restoration power.
We also pray to God for people included in your prayer by name. We pray for Michele, Elischa, Ashley, Nathalie, Eric, Amanda, and Naini. We pray for their deliverance and restoration to the image of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Now, we would like to address the issue of repentance, which you mentioned and we would like to expand on. They can have deliverance and restoration only if they repent of their sins, believe in Jesus Christ dying on the cross for our sins and resurrecting from the dead for our justification, and continue to walk in the image of Jesus Christ living a life in obedience to the word of God.
In 2 Chronicles 7:14, God says, "If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land."
Repentance involves turning away from sin and turning towards God. It is a change of mind and heart that leads to a change in behavior.
We pray that each of these individuals will have a true repentance experience, turning away from their sins and turning towards God, trusting in our Lord Jesus Christ as their savior if they have not already.
We pray that they will seek God's will for their lives and walk in obedience to His word.
We ask this in Jesus' name.
