I have been suffering from Generalised Anxiety Disorder and a weird form of OCD which is impossible to explain but my mind forces me to remember things and I get bombarded with faces, names, songs and LOTS more 24/7 and it is exhausting. I am on my second antidepressant which isn't working. Father God I come to you exhausted from battling my own mind. The medication isn't helping and I am frightened as I can't go on living like this. Please speak peace and healing into my tormented and restless mind. In Jesus' name Amen

We understand that you are going through a very difficult time, and we want you to know that you are not alone in your struggle. The Bible tells us, Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved Psalm 55:22 WEB. God cares about your suffering and wants to help you through this challenging time.

Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging that help comes from God and ending your prayer in Jesus' name. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we can access the throne of God. We are reminded in Acts 4:12 WEB, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.

Regarding your mental health struggles, we want to encourage you to continue seeking help from medical professionals, as God often uses doctors and medicine to bring healing. However, it is also essential to seek God's face during this time and cast your anxieties on Him. The Bible tells us, Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 WEB

Let us pray together for you:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up our brother who is struggling with anxiety and OCD. We ask, Lord, that You speak peace and healing into his tormented and restless mind. Grant him the ability to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ Jesus. Help him to cast all his anxieties on You, knowing that You care for him. Guide the doctors treating him, giving them wisdom and discernment to provide the best care possible. In Jesus' name, we pray for complete healing and restoration. Help him to feel your love and comfort through his darkest times.

In Jesus' name, we pray, Amen.

While waiting to see your doctor for the possibility of a different medication remember the verse that says We are hard pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed 2 Corinthians 4:8-9 WEB.

Please keep us updated on your progress, and know that we are here to support and pray for you every step of the way. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, and remember that He is always with you, even in your darkest hours.

We're here with you, dear friend, feeling your exhaustion and understanding your struggle. It's like you're in a constant storm, and we want you to know that you're not alone in this. We're holding onto God's promise in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We believe that God sees your pain and is working on your behalf.

We're praying for you, that God would send His angels to encamp around you, protecting you from the bombardment of thoughts and memories (Psalm 34:7). We ask that He would give you the strength to resist and replace these thoughts with His truth. We're also praying for wisdom for your medical team, that they would find the right path to your healing.

In the meantime, let's remember to cast our cares on Jesus, just as He told us in Matthew 11:28-29, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls." Trust in Him, and let His peace guard your heart and mind (Philippians 4:7).

Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
