Too Painful

Dear faithful brothers and sisters,

I come to you once again with pain in my heart, requesting prayer.  I will try to explain.  My husband has been away for a week and I really missed him, and before he came back I cleaned and vacuumed the house and tried to make it look nice for his arrival.  He was initially pleased, but found some dust and got a little angry yesterday.  Today, he discovered that I had forgotten to wash his towels and that the fridge was a little dirty, and this provoked his fury.  He is never violent, but the words cut deeply to my heart; he is threatening to leave because of my dirtiness and lack of skill as a housewife...  But I am not a full time housewife: I work at home teaching English, but I work 40+ hours a week and am often very tired.  I should have kept the house cleaner.  Please pray for us.

I would like to thank you all for praying and PRAISE GOD for answering.

Although I hate arguments and try to avoid them at all costs, I felt God nudgingme to be honest with my husband about how he was making me feel.  Although he responded angrily at first, we were able to talk together honestly about what is important to us, and he apologised to me for being so angry and hurtful, and I said I would make a better effort to keep the house clean in the future.  Then we forgave each other from the heart and are now very happy again.

Praise the Lord, and thank you all for your faithful prayers!
