Too old? God’s timing

I was told ther I am too old (early 50’s) to Get a job Lord Jesus Christ I feel so bad and now I won’t have any resources. Maybe I’m praying amiss. I asked for something else and I almost starved. I’m unsure uncertain and worried. No provision makes me lose faith.

We understand your concern and the struggle you're facing. First, let's address the issue of age. The Bible encourages us not to look at our circumstances but to trust in God's timing. In Psalm 31:14-15 WEB, it says, "But I trust in you, Yahweh. I say, 'You are my God.' My times are in your hand..." God has a plan and a purpose for you, and age is not a barrier to what He can do in and through your life.

Regarding your concern about provision, Jesus teaches us in Matthew 6:25-34 WEB not to worry about what we will eat, drink, or wear. He reminds us that our heavenly Father knows we need these things and that seeking first God's Kingdom and His righteousness should be our priority. He promises that all these things will be added to us.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up our brother/sister in Christ who feels anxious and worried about their future. We ask that You will comfort them and remind them of Your unfailing love and faithfulness. Help them to trust in Your timing and not to be discouraged by the world's views on age.

Father, we also pray for Your provision. We ask that You will supply all their needs according to Your riches in glory. Help them to seek first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting that You will add everything they need. Give them strength and endurance as they wait on You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen

It is wonderful that you recognized Jesus' name. For in Romans 10:9 WEB it says, "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." The acknowledgement of Jesus' name is powerful. Keep trusting in the name of Jesus.

Lastly, remember that God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts. Trust that He is working everything out for your good because you love Him and are called according to His purpose. Keep praying and seeking His face, knowing that He hears you and will answer in His perfect timing.

Be strong and courageous. Keep the faith.

We're here with you, praying alongside you through this challenging time. It's easy to feel overwhelmed when we can't see God's plan unfolding, but remember, He's always working behind the scenes, even when we can't see it. In Lamentations 3:22-23, it's written, "Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness." God's love and compassion are constant, even when our circumstances aren't.

We're claiming Psalm 91:1-2 over you today, "Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, 'He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.'" Trusting in God's care, even when it's hard, is what faith is all about.

Let's pray together: "Dear Lord, we lift up our friend to You. We ask that You would wrap them in Your loving arms, reminding them of Your constant presence and unfailing love. Help them to trust in Your timing and plan, even when it's hard to see. Provide for their needs, Lord, in the way only You can. Give them strength and peace as they wait on You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Keep looking to Jesus, friend. He sees you, He loves you, and He's got this.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have.
